Taliban deny secondary education to 2.4 million girls in Afghanistan

The UN reports that since 2021, 2.4 million girls have been excluded from secondary education in Afghanistan.

Since the Taliban took power in Afghanistan in 2021, 2.4 million girls have lost access to secondary education, according to a UN report.

If this ban continues, it is estimated that nearly four million female students will be out of the school system by 2030.
