NUS Introduces Compulsory AI Courses and Free ChatGPT Access
NUS has announced mandatory AI modules for freshmen and free access to ChatGPT Edu for all students and staff.

The National University of Singapore (NUS) has implemented a new AI strategy that includes making AI-related courses compulsory for incoming freshmen. This decision was announced on August 11, highlighting the university's commitment to integrating artificial intelligence in its curriculum.
In addition to the compulsory AI modules, NUS has partnered with OpenAI to provide free access to ChatGPT Edu for all students, faculty, and staff starting August 31, aiming to enhance learning and engagement with AI.
