Spotify announces labeling for AI-generated music
The music streaming service Spotify will soon label and exclude music created by artificial intelligence.
Spotify has announced that it will better label music generated by artificial intelligence in the future. The company, which is based in Sweden, informs that from mid-September 2026, corresponding profiles will be marked as "AI Persona."
Additionally, Spotify reports that recommendations related to such profiles will be excluded. This measure aims to inform users more clearly about the origin of the music and to avoid potential confusion.
