A new art installation has been unveiled at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin to commemorate the construction of the Berlin Wall 65 years ago. The installation, located on the west side of the landmark, measures 30 meters in length and about 3 meters in height, resembling the former wall that divided the city for decades.

The installation aims to provoke thought about borders and separation. This initiative comes 65 years after the historic event that shaped the division of Berlin and ultimately Germany. The transparent wall contrasts with the gray, physical Wall and invites visitors to reflect on the symbolism and history of the division.
