In a phone call, Bahrain's Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani congratulated Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on the recent signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. This information was reported by the Foreign Office.
The Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, signed on August 7, involves Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye, and is aimed at strengthening collective deterrence. The agreement allows signatory states to consider an attack against one as an attack against all.
